Our Products

The SAFplus platform is a mature, field-ready carrier-class application service platform built for the telecommunications industry. Its companion development environment simplifies product integration and customization, enabling engineering teams to adapt quickly to evolving network requirements. SAFplus has been successfully deployed across most of the world’s largest carriers and enterprises, reflecting the platform’s proven performance at scale.

Representing over $40 million in development investment and now in its fourth major release, SAFplus is supported by a base of more than 20 major enterprises worldwide.

Our Founder

OpenClovis was founded by VK Budhraja, a seasoned Silicon Valley entrepreneur with a distinguished track record in telecommunications technology. Before founding OpenClovis, Budhraja co-founded Fibex Systems — a pioneer in Integrated Access Digital Loop Carrier (IADLC) products combining traditional voice services with data services. He raised $75 million in venture capital for Fibex and won a multiyear contract to supply its products to AT&T, ultimately selling Fibex to networking giant Cisco Systems in 1999.

Prior to Fibex, Budhraja held senior engineering and systems roles at Next Level Communications and DSC/Alcatel, building deep expertise across the full telecommunications stack. He studied at Stony Brook University before embarking on a career that would span decades of innovation in carrier-grade systems.

Budhraja served as President and CEO of OpenClovis since its founding in 2002, and OpenClovis continues to be owned and operated by the Budhraja family — a testament to their long-term commitment to the company’s mission and customers.
